Bloodsail Buccaneer

Note to Self: I’m almost half-way to exalted with Bloodsail Buccaneers!! Yay!! I’ve been working on this rep grinding for a couple months now and with all the website work lately I’ve really put in some hours and my rep is like more than 8k outta the 21k needed.

However now I’m a little worried, wowWiki makes it sound like people have been able to collect that last point needed to hit exalted but I looked up a horde character Kyouou that had been sharing the one and only grinding ground with me and well anyway I noticed he’s stopped at 20999. So now I’m concerned can we not get the last point? I know theres the two STV quest for the Bloodsail Title but is it still necessary to save those quest for that last point? I thought it wasn’t …

BTW for anyone keeping track I’m not on Steamwheedle Cartel anymore. I’m on Turalon, still a druid but named Multiplicity.

Everyone seen “Eclipse”?

I loved it of course, I think David Slade did an awesome job bringing the book to life. Although I had hoped to see more tension within the love triangle for example the secret visit to Jacob’s followed by a nerve racking drive to Angela’s house. I think Melissa Rosenberg did a great job weaving Rileys story into the movie and the final fight scene was quite exciting!

What Did You Love the Most?

Oh thats hard.. I think I’d have to say the ‘down on one knee’ wedding proposal. Edward tried to so hard to make Bella understand that ‘when’ he came from times were different. There were chaperoned walks, iced tea on the porch, very few stolen kisses, men were gentlemen back then. Kudos to Robert Pattinson for pulling it off flawlessly!

What Did You Hate the Most?

Did they really have to ruin the vision of how Stephenie Meyer vampires are destroyed? That glass breaking effect totally got on my nerves! The constant glass breaking sound everytime a head or arm went flying was annoying!!!

Happy 4th of July!

I know it’s been a few weeks since I last posted, I’ve been really busy working on web projects. Changing host, moving sites, ect.. This blog was a $#%^% to move!! It was still version 2.0.2 (bad I know) but thanx partially to simple scripts I was able to finally get it all updated so it’s running the current version now. I’m not going to upload everything that was on the last host, it was almost 500mb of files (wow) I had no idea there was that many files on my account LoL. So with my mom gone now I haven’t decided whether to setup coppermine again, its was our family online photo album. Angelcity is up but needs update badly, my fansites are up Kurt Russel and the now unofficial lake Placid. TheFanlistings.org dumped my fanlist for Lake Placid but regardless I’m keeping it up! The Poster Art Shop is open 24 hours a day for your perusing pleasures. I put my Neopets Tipz page back up but I have no idea how current any of it is now.

Happy Birthday Jax!! My oldest baby is 26 today =}

Graduation

It’s been 25 years, 10 months, and 18 days since I gave birth to my first child, Jax. She graduated in 2002. She married her high school sweetheart, went to college, and became a nurse (LVN). She had two beautiful little boys and sadly became a widow at a very young age. She’s found love again and re-married inheriting a step-son whom we all adore.

Jenn followed down the graduation walk in 2004. She went into the army and trained to be a computer operations specialist. She met her soul mate Sean while in training, they married on April fools day 2005. She left the army, he signed on for another six years. They bought a house in NC where they live happily with their four legged children “Lil Bit” and “Byrd”.

Jonni was quickly following along and graduated in 2006. She bounced around for awhile before settling down as a guard at the Texas Corrections Unit, Beto. She blessed us with our first (and only) granddaughter Ali two years ago. And then again two days ago with a grandson.

Sam was right behind her sisters heals and graduated in 2007. The photo above is from 2006 since I can’t find a scanned copy of her graduation photos. She shocked us all by doing a 180, she was the well mannered child and starting the week of graduation she became the wild child. She’s living about 35 minutes away with her boyfriends family, shes happy or at least pretends to be. She’s finished training and is working as a CNA now with plans to go to nursng school.

And last but not least our youngest Steph. Only a week or so remains till she takes the graduation walk. She turned out to be the most obstinate child of all but we couldn’t be prouder! She plans to move in with her boyfriends parents sometime after graduation while he’s away at basic training. We’ll be helping her pack LoL. I haven’t scanned her graduation photos so the photo above is old, 2006.

All in all I think we did a fairly good job of raising our daughters. I’ve tried to teach them independence, responsibility, and discipline (yes mother, I know I failed on that last one). None have been starved or beaten (not that we haven’t wanted to have a beating session, ok several, LoL). They all know where “home” is and that our door is always open. I can only hope the lessons we’ve tried to teach them some how make their lives better for that knowledge.

June 4th will be a happy day and also a sad day. We will celebrate Steph’s graduating and mourn that my mom wasn’t here to share in this celebration as she has always been for each sister before. Find peace in your passing mom, and know your in our hearts!

Happy Birth Day Benjy

We welcome our 4th grandchild, I’m not sure If we’ll call him Benjy or Remmy. This makes three boys and one girl as far as grandchildren go. His mommy Jonni, is doing very well and is already home.
